2018 PROJECT 6/6 →
EDITORIAL DESIGN / CREATIVE DIRECTION / PHOTOGRAPHY
When asked to create a portrait of Berlin, I was challenged to choose any medium to generate a narrative voice for the city that would intrigue the global audience. Inspired by the wheat pasted posters and discreet messages scrawled onto every alley I passed by on my way to work, I decided to publish an editorial based on a local phenomenon that had overrun the city in silence.
Through photography and print design I was able to capture the movement of repurposed goods and spaces that has already transformed the identity and landscape of Berlin over the past decades. As we peer into the past, we rediscover the future.
